Continuing education requirements for Next Generation Science Standards present an additional encumbrance for classroom teachers who are already burdened in many ways. The Center is ready to help fill this training gap with continuing education opportunities provided at no cost.
On the Farm STEM is an immersive, learner-centric, hands-on event that explores the science food production through an inquisitive, science-focused perspective required to bring high-quality proteins for global consumption. This program utilizes a phenomena based approach to NGSS that will help participants reinvigorate and transform how they bring NGSS to life for their students back home.
Learn MoreThis program will lead you through the process of accessing, implementing, and interpreting student results of an NGSS transfer task. This module is expected to take approximately 20 minutes to complete, but with the addition of real-time, classroom practice opportunities throughout.
ViewEverything we need comes from the Storyline. The Storyline is our map. It guides us facilitating the students' exploration and problem solving.
ViewThis module will help you make the shift in your classroom from students learning to figuring out. What does it actually look like? How it will work in my classroom? Get ready... that's where we're headed.
